SAM is Beninca’s new 24 Vdc articulated arm motor for swing gates with wings up to 2.5 m installed on wide columns.
The drive mechanism and the innovative design allow a distance from the hinge of the wing to the edge of the column of as much as 28 centimeters – the largest on the market at the moment. Extremely compact, with its width of 17 centimeters , it is suitable for installing on columns with dimensions -15 x 15 centimeters without protruding.
Quiet and fast, SAM opens a wing to 90° in less than 14 seconds, including when braking in the opening and closing phase is adjusted.
The new engine is characterized by quick and easy installation. The built-in control unit is accessible from above and is positioned on a removable support that facilitates assembly operations and offers quick access to the mechanical stops. This allows the actuator to be installed on ground level.
The SAM motor control unit is equipped with an innovative system for reducing consumption (ESA+), which guarantees a standby consumption of less than 1 W.
SAM is extremely easy to connect and program. It is prepared for the integration of home automation systems thanks to the X.BE accessory. The SAM can be programmed and controlled remotely by the installer using the BeUP application by connecting the PRO.UP interface.
